Dark Stained Wood Floors

Dark stained wood floors are a great way to contrast with whites such as a white sofa, or a white trendy cabinet.

These tendencies in dark – bright contrasts are beautiful, but will they stay for the long run?
Usually extreme color trends have a certain cycle; however, dark floor colors such as espresso brown and blackish will probably keep trending for 5 more years.

A downside to dark color flooring is that it can make your space look smaller, and dust can be more visible. However, it’ll definitely look beautiful.

Blonde Wood Floors

Then again, extremes are in. We now go from super dark to super light. Blonde wood colors such as that found in bamboo flooring, are gaining popularity.
The big pro about this type of floor us that it light colors make your space look bigger, and it can bypass the fact that you haven’t cleaned your floor recently.
Light wood colors are now trendy, but will probably stay for the long run and turn to classic.

Gray Wood Floors

Gray is in. Very. And this trend – contrary to what some people thought in the beginning – has been going on for a while and it’s not going anywhere.

Gray is a neutral and calming color for flooring that has become a statement in the modern household.

A Great way to accompany gray floorings are with white cabinets and furniture with something of color such as a red lamp.

Matte Finished Wood Floors

Matte finished wood floors are growing popularity – and will probably continue to grow for the next decade -, but are still not at its prime. Its uniqueness and modern touch makes it a trend definitely worth the try.
